Volunteer For Village is an effort by TEF to engage every citizen in volunteering for various causes. Our goal is to see every citizen eventually volunteer ( one hour a week on average). As part of the effort, we Build and engage the ecosystem to promote volunteering at scale. Help solving issues of villages by its own citizen. Design and test pilots in partnership with various organizations. Convene interactions and curate learning opportunities where relevant, provide funding to help scale up volunteering work significantly.

Our inspiration is late Dr Padma Charan Mishra who was a Gandhian and always inspired community to contribute. Late Dr Mishra had been the founding member of Daspalla Girls High school. He promoted girl child education since 1967. Today Daspalla girls high school is one of the best school and produced many professional.Late Dr Mishra left his Govt. job to work in his village. He had successfully nudged Central and State govt. offices to bring Kuanria irrigation project to Daspalla which benefits thousands of farmer. He was promoting sports , culture , helping the needy with health support and reaching out to abandon senior citizen with help. A great visionary who also believed volunteerism to do good for your own village and Janambhoomi is the greatest contribution to develop society. TEF draws inspiration from the great soul.
Dillip, has been in corporate banking for more than a decade. He has been associated with various organisations in different capacities. Dillip was associated with Sikhya Vikash Samiti Odisha since last 20 years. A devoted Rotarian who has been associated with Rotary for more than two decades. Inspired by his father Late Dr Padma Charan Mishra Dillip has initiated various development activities in his village Daspalla. Helping the needy has been in his DNA.
Sukirti Panda , an MBA(HR)from RCM(Utkal University) is a volunteer to bring social impact by promoting rural art and culture. She believes that connecting rural village with new ways to urban cities to enhance income and opportunities would bring the desired change in society. A compassionate, down to earth, well organized ,resilient and spiritual person. Sukirti believes in the quote,"Service to mankind is service to God.“ Her focus is to help Odisha artisan for livelihoods through market linkages.
Biswajita has been in Early Child education since last two decades. She has been the founding member of a school for low income group to build foundation of children in low resource settings for better learning. She is also involved in many philanthropic initiatives. She volunteers for teaching to slum children in Odisha.Her focus is to provide opportunities for higher learning for children from low income group.
